This is take 2 of the monster cups the sliplines turned out great but i got quite a bit of movement with the clay and the post fired cups are now ovals not round... so here's take 2 with a different clay body and fingers crossed that the handles aren't too heavy.. and a few drawings from the wkd i'm slowly getting the hang of spending more time in the sketchbook again :))

ReplyDeleteI'm so impressed with your drawing. Do yo ever incorporate this with your pottery? I'd love to see what you'd do carving through slips.
ReplyDeleteah jim, hopefully the cups work this time :P
ReplyDeleteHi Nick and welcome..my drawing goes a long way back to college days and i have my moments where I really get stuck into it...sometimes i draw with a ceramic pen, I have done drawing on tiles and may venture into that again...I quite like drawing straight into the slip with a pencil too
