I made a small diversion when heading out for a walk today...my poor lungs needed some flexing as that flu took its toll on me and what did i find???? all sorts.....we had some lovely sunshine and was a lil adventure heading off the beaten track..
when I think of all the places I used to live with beautiful sticky red clay and now I live in sandy soil, what I could have done back then, well I did grow some beautiful plants.
hey hollis, not quite sure i know the pottery over the road used to make ovenware that looks like stoneware but no idea what they fired to..
hey linda its amazing eh im on sand too unless you dig down a couple of meters but across the road are quarries..should go and have a chat with the brickworks and find out some more info..

ReplyDeletehey jim gotta head back with my bucket and spade..
ReplyDeletehi cynthia it'll be a first for me too, need to be inspired and the recent tile work has def done that..getting there thanks.
It looks good, Ang. I'm eager to see what it fires to. I've done a bit of that around here, but not as much as I would like to.
