  4. AAAHH, talk of pools and +33C weather..:)) sounds so lovely. I am forgetting what plus 33 degrees is like here in the 'great white north' of Alberta, where is was minus 30C AGAIN yesterday morning. tomorrow is bringing in a heat wave of -8C or something like that. Happy building of your pergola. :)

  7. POOL!!! every potter and artist NEEDS a pool!! I'd have a pool in a second but for more than half the year it would have to be an ice rink :o)

  8. I'd settle for a hot tub right now, it's chilly with the fog. Great forming job on that concrete.

  9. het jim the work continues at the evening part of the day, a tad cooler then, a beam is going up tonight and putting all the bits back together yey! ah yes mud he's 13 now and not in as much trouble as he used to be...

hi cindy, well that makes sense, we only go from 4C - 44C so no risk of freezing up..well the thing is i hit a bump in the road quite few years ago and before hitting the 40 mark with blood pressure sky rocketing and found out my thyroid was cactus! so the keeping active thing is mostly about keeping well, hence the swimming and the running..and its good to have a bbq and friends around the kids love the pool!

hey linda, maybe a portable one then that would be a bit spooky in the fog, couldn't you head to warmer country parts now? oh and thanks i was out there in the dark didn't want it to look too shabby and i think its come up ok...stay warm..

  10. That slab of concrete would be just nice to cover with a layer or two of fire brick. Add 4 walls and an arch, and...yay, another kiln is born! This one with preheated water injection! Lovely mug and cat too. And you have tinned beetroot too I see (often tastes better than the real thing!).
