Hi all, I had some tragic news on sunday about the client who commissioned the 2 tuscan themed table tops, John Monaghan died suddenly last weekend. It has taken me a back and even though I only met him a few times he has left quite an impression.. and with respect to John the work will be continued on to fulfill his dream of making his house a home filled with lovely art. Along with fellow clubee Barb who has created some lovely paintily glass windows to be inserted into doorways we will complete the work that John had commissioned and fill his home with colour and impressions of artist past.
Oh, I am so sorry for the loss. I know it has hit you hard.
ReplyDeleteI wish you the best success in the completion of the project.

So sorry to read this. Sounds like he was a man who will be much missed and remembered with love and respect.
ReplyDeleteAng, this is sad news indeed. But the beauty you and Barb have created will be a testament to a good man's dream. I think these gifts matter...in ways we can't always comprehend. I first heard the term "Good on ya" while visiting Australia two years ago. I hope you don't mind if I use it now? Good on ya, lady. You and Barb have full and loving hearts.
ReplyDeleteOh Ang that's sad. What a shame he won't see the work in all it's glory. Look after yourself.
ReplyDeleteThat's terrible news for his family and friends. It's very admirable that you are going to finish the piece for him.
ReplyDeletewhat strange ways life pulls us sometimes - even though he has passed from this earth doesn't mean he won't see the finished product - I commend you for pushing ahead - thank you for stopping my my blog and leaving your kind comment -
