ahhhh..... the gas kiln once again being moved and rebuilt, in the words of kevin costner..."if you build it -they will come"...... i'm looking forward to trying out the new venturi burners and listening to a quiet hum rather than the TM's impersonation of a jet engine....

latest blue crackle

after bucket loads of testing here's the new blue crackle with a very nice white satin glaze on the outside, these are the 5 kg agate ware platters i threw earlier with 2 diff types of clay one recycled and the other a lovely cream earthenware stoneware blend that i use a lot....

also raku from last weekends firing........they're always different but thats part of the raku experience, you just never know what you're going to get.......
