a little bit of the red stuff...

here's some of the red stuff from yesterday...yep a kinda clean wheel to start with, i have to do that part of the process eh? I made a few teapots, the lids are resting on some very special molds to get the curve that sometimes remains through the firing..

then got into some big stuff with one of mr cardews drop molds...heavy!!! and a shot of some of the tools i used for anna...

the panorama shot is from the little bench outside doug's workshop, a great day! and to top it off we went to the local game last night what a laugh, i'll put some video together later, talk about loud...and finished off with chippies for tea, v. healthy!!

some more cool stuff around the square in the town centre some shards of pots inset in perspex, oh and doug he's real..and some reproduction of text set in concrete they're all around the space i grabbed a couple of shots of the ones that amused me most.. , the ruins are what's left of a bombing during the war ... we also drove past the prison apparently where oscar wilde did a stint and wrote there too..brilliant day, we had lunch in an art space/theatre cafe and checked out a couple of exhibits, strolled around town went past the lovely book shop that so kindly got me in contact with doug on sunday, yeh for wi-fi i say and skype!!

wandering around before lunch in exeter yesterday we came across some really cool stuff bit of history and all...

would you believe the oldest castle still standing in england....and check out the witches stone engraving...ooooh

and this lovely flower deco directly behind us taking this shot was on a planter box all covered with yum green stuff..

on the way to exeter yesterday we took a pit stop at the vets, hello sheep....after which this horse appeared out of knowhere decided i looked like lunch i think, oooh lets dash over and scare ang while shes checking for mobile coverage.....oi!!

howdy all, brain is still v slushy from the long trip over...here's one of dougs cats..just finished attacking my foot..

I found my way down to exeter yesterday on the bus yeye!!!
then of course my mobile died while trying to contact doug, ended up finding an internet connection in a cafe and skyping doug, double yey... and met up outside the cathedral quite funny day in retrospect, heheheh..

anyhoo had a lovely cuppa and a sit down before discovering the joys of shopping in primark....£2 tshirts ha...

off for a wonder around today..catchya later..
