you make em..we stack em...




A small sample of the club work we loaded today into 'big mumma'...the planning and execution of this kiln has gone on for years and finally here we go this saturday the big fire up!! We'll be taking it slowly as there's quite a bit of stored moisture in there..in the works and in the kiln itself..

There's a good combo of work from most of our clay clubees and some pieces have been waiting patiently to get toasted! and yes it did mostly fit in....happy firing chaps...

  3. hey meredith he sure is and been waiting patiently on a benchtop for a very long time he's pre firing aged! a piece by belinda she's very talented and no doubt will be there saturday..

  7. Weeeeee it is getting exciting!!! B's Buddha was finished just a little over two years ago!! We will be be a great day Sat! where is my couch!?

    hiya linda, he's not too bad just large and a lil difficult to manoeuvre but he's really well made, some of the other pieces were heavier..

    ha jess sorry you'll have to bring a bean bag!

  10. That's some kiln god! Some fantastic pieces there, good luck with the first firing, your last post inspired me to get that old pot belly shifted into my studio, and to have a sort out.

  12. That is a mighty fine Buddha - did he fit? He looks nearly as big as the kiln itself - are you crafting perspective trickery?
